How to license
Licensing process
OEM CLA is a Microsoft OEM Customer License Agreement for Embedded Systems MDS Pacific provides Windows Embedded OS development toolkit and runtime licenses to the OEM customer.
When the OEM builds a licensed product image for mass production, they should use the Product Key Number printed on the COA(Certificate of Authenticity). A PID is an alpha-numeric string that assigns a unique identification number to Microsoft embedded Licensed Products. An OEM customer uses a PID to authenticate and flash a Licensed Product Image across a line of Embedded Systems.
